Update .. 8.05.26 .. Hi y,all . All things horsey will be back in town tomorrow Sat'dy the 9th May from 12. 250kgs of chicken mince was delivered to the Hahndorf Shelter last Tuesday and Minton copped a big load of hay a couple of months ago so all going well with the pet food pledges for this year. Thanks Nadia from Hahndorf for your support with that load of hay at a special deal, very kind. Hats off to all who support farrier boy ,staying strong and rising above all of the annoying false rhetoric we all cop from time to time, your all legends. Oh, almost forgot, if you're still ere' I've heard a few folk have been asking where I've been the last couple of months. I had a car accident, wrote the car off, broke my right hoof in a couple of places and a rib or two. Nothing serious, I've had much worse falling off them hawses over the years. Everything's fused back together so no big deal. Hope to see you all up in them thar hills.
Ooh roo Richard

Update .. 2.05.26 .. Hi all, although all things fantastic continue in Hahndorf, due to the uncertainty with the weather, horse wise, I'll have to err on the side of caution and postpone to next weekend. Hope everyone has a great weekend up in them thar hills! Ooh Roo, Richard:)

Update .. 26.04.26 .. 4 Feet First will be back in town next Sunday the 3rd May (this year). My right hoof is almost there. I can't wait to get back into regular action Hahndorf horsey wise. The next food delivery for the shelter is scheduled for Tuesday 5th May. Ooh roo Richard:)

Update.. 18.4.26 .. For anyone interested, the 4 Feet First horsey attraction will be back in town from 12ish to 1.30ish tomorrow (Sunday) in amongst all things bright and beautiful in Hahndorf. We've got some serious catchin' up to do fundraiser wise so if you can pop up or over and throw something in the tin we'll pay it forward quicker than that lizard drinkin'. Cheers Richard:)

Update: 11.4.26 .. Hi everyone, me again, looks like another boring Saturday for farrier boy, poor Richard ???? Although Hahndorf pumps along nicely in the cooler and gusty weather and with me not quite there accident wise, Elliott has to miss out on his long lunch in town once again this weekend. I'm getting lots of feedback his brother from another 'fibreglass' mother is getting a lot of attention from passers by so that'll have to do till the real thing comes back next weekend. I'm about a 1 or 2 out of 10 with my 'accident recovery. I'll be out and about in the main street during the week with Elliott getting him back into some routine to make it a comfortable transition for him. He'll be getting lots of treats!
Hope everyone is having a great time of it with the footy crowds etc. What a great atmosphere our interstate and local visitors bring to Hahndorf everytime they pop in, ooh roo Richard

Update: Hi all, although all things wonderful continue in Hahndorf this Easter weekend, I have to postpone again to next weekend. I'm almost there with my car accident 'injuries' with just an annoying off-side front hoof still sore and still in light to medium work mode. Just need a few more days of rest for good measure. I'm so bored and chaffing at the bit to get back into it all. See you all up thar in them thar hills next weekend. Hats off to all for your support and patience. Drive safe and ave' a good weekend! cheers, Richard

Update: Hi all, the 4 Feet First horsey fundraiser hasn't been in town for a couple of weeks. Yours truly has been in a car accident and recovering quicker than a lizard drinkin'.
Elliott and I will be back on Easter Saturday to get the party started again! Ive got some serious catching up to do and can't wait to see you all again up in them thar hills, ooh roo Richard
